Behind the coffee Kenya is considered one of the most productive regions for growing coffee within Africa. This coffee is from the Lyego farmer’s cooperative, and is funded through the “global coffee village”, a charitable foundation which sets out to develop positive working relationships between farmers and roasters.
The coffee farm is situated at the foothills of Mount Kenya, an area which, agriculturally, is ideal for growing high grade coffee, such as this exceptional ‘AB’ graded variety.
Flavours and Characteristics The coffee has a clean and light body in the cup, with bright acidity and distinctive citrusy flavours throughout. There is a pleasant and memorable honey-like sweetness to finish.
